Analog Devices Inc. EVAL-SDP-CH1Z High-Speed Controller Board

Analog Devices EVAL-SDP-CH1Z is a high-speed controller board for the Analog Devices System Demonstration Platform (SDP). The SDP provides designers with an evaluation system for Analog Devices components and reference circuits. The Analog Devices SDP is comprised of a series of controller boards, interposer boards, and daughter boards. The SDP controller boards provide a means of communicating with the PC from the system under evaluation. In addition, the SDP controller boards allow for the configuration and capture of data on daughter boards from the PC via USB.

The EVAL-SDP-CH1Z, also known as the SDP-H1 Controller Board, features an Xilinx Spartan 6 and an ADSP-BF527 processor with connectivity to the PC through a USB 2.0 high-speed port. The SDP-H1 Controller Board is designed with an FMC low-pin-count ( LPC) connector with full differential LVDS and singled-ended LVCMOS support. SDP-H1 also includes the 120-pin connector, found on the SDP-B which exposes the Blackfin processors peripherals. This connector provides a configurable Serial, Parallel I2C and SPI and GPIO communications lines to the attached daughter board.
