Analog Devices Inc. ADM2761E & ADM2763E RS-485 Transceivers

Analog Devices Inc. ADM2761E and ADM2763E Transceivers are 500kbps, 5.7kV_rms, signal isolated RS-485 transceivers that pass radiated emissions which test the EN 55032, Class B standard with margin. These transceivers are compliant with the RS-485 and RS-422 communication standards. The ADM2761E and ADM2763E Transceivers are optimized for low speed over long cable runs and have a maximum data rate of 500kbps. These transceivers feature an isolation barrier that provides robust system-level immunity to IEC 61000-4-x system-level Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards. The ADM2763E transceiver features a receiver cable invert pin to allow quick correction of the reversed cable connection on the A and B receiver bus pins.

The Analog Devices Inc. ADM2761E and ADM2763E Transceivers operate at 1.7V to 5.5V and 3.0V to 5.5V input voltage ranges on V_DD1 and V_DD2 supply voltages respectively. These transceivers operate at -40°C to 125°C temperature range. The ADM2761E and ADM2763E Transceivers offer half-duplex and full-duplex device options in the industry standard. These transceivers come in a 16-lead, wide-body, standard SOIC_W package with 8.3mm creepage and clearance. The high differential output voltage of the transceivers makes them suitable for PROFIBUS^® nodes when powered with 5V on the V_DD2 supply. Applications include solar inverters, electrical test and measurement, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) networks, industrial field buses, and building automation.
